Intergrated Security Systems (ISS) have been a market leader in the electronic security industry since 1998. In short, we specialise in designing, installing, and overseeing bespoke security and control systems that are tailored to our clients’ needs and budgets. Jane - Founder

As a specialist in ballistics, facial recognition with built in AI, and data transmission technologies, Jane boasts more than 20 years of experience in designing and specifying intelligent security systems. To date, Jane is part of the most trusted circle of CNI service providers having worked for the UK's leading security advisory committees, both at government level and in the commercial consultancy arena including for the National Counter Terrorism and Security Office. She also supports high-profile companies and high-net-worth individuals. In addition to this, she has been instrumental in developing the integration of public and private sectors in order to provide the continued professional development of all police CT security advisers. 

 

Jane ensures that each security solution is tailored to individual needs and uses the most innovative technology to fit ever-changing demands.This bespoke approach, as well as Jane’s initiative and awareness of sensitive environments, has meant she’s been able to bring new systems to the market, ensuring that each one meets business objectives while building a quality reputation in the industry. To commemorate her outstanding success over the years, Jane has received the prestigious honour award of Freedom of the City of London.

Angharad - Business Development Manager

Angharad is the Business Development Manager for Intergrated Security Systems, with a specialist interest in Ballistic and Attack products. Angharad joins us with a background in Policing, having served for 5 years with Thames Valley Police, where she left behind her role as a Detective at CID. Prior to joining the team, Angharad was investigating Organised and Complex Crime, specialising in Burglaries, Robberies and County Line drug dealing.

 

Angharad has gone from investigating and solving crime, to now helping to prevent it! She is extremely keen on learning about new technology and since joining us, has made an effort to learn a huge amount. Her passion for innovation is the key to her success and having the access to the best technology means that she can assist in providing a high-quality, effective solution that meets each individual client’s needs.

David Ward

David Ward is a senior security consultant who has worked at every level of the security industry and over many security disciplines for over 25 years. In 2000, he founded Ward Security a company which under his direction, grew to become one of the leading security companies in the UK with a £45m turnover, employing over 1000 security personnel. He left his Chief Executive position in the business in 2021 to establish DW Associates and specialise in working with businesses at an international level to provide risk management consultancy, security advice and training. 

 

He is a board trustee of the CSSC (Cross-Sector Safety and Security Communications) and Chair of the South East Region, a role he has held since 2015 and one that involves developing strong partnerships between law enforcement agencies, local and national government and private sector businesses. He is the creator of the City Security Council (CSC) and until recently was Chair of the Group. The CSC is a collective of premier city security companies formed with the specific purpose of improving incident responses by security companies in the City of London in times of major crises by working collaboratively together and in partnership with the City of London Police and the City of London Corporation.

 

He has recently been appointed as Chair of a Special Interest Group at the Security Commonwealth (SyCom) where his main role involves understanding the perceptions of the security industry and identifying areas that need addressing to manage the overall reputation of the industry in the UK.

 

David was bestowed the prestigious honour Freedom of the City of London in 2021, a recognition awarded to people who have achieved outstanding success in their chosen field.  In 2022, he achieved Chartered Security Professional (CSyP) status, a professional certification in security held by less than 300 people, which was launched under Royal Charter issued to the Worshipful Company of Security Professionals in 2011.​

Michelle Roycroft

Michelle Roycroft is a former Metropolitan Police Detective. Her career spanned over 30 years within law enforcement services, holding positions on some of the most prestigious units in the service including working at Scotland Yard on the Art & Antiques Unit.

 

She was involved with some of the UK’s highest profile art fraud and forgery cases, working with London’s main auction houses & museums dealing with matters in a sensitive manner whilst maintaining the victim and commercial confidentiality. Michelle has also worked on the drug squad and serious organised crime unit. She specialised in covert operations, intelligence collection and analysis. Michelle was lead investigator for a number of pro-active investigations both within the UK and internationally.

 

Since leaving the police service, she has acted on behalf of many clients who are victims of crime, assisting with police liaison to report crimes and overseeing the investigation and subsequent court cases and related civil claims. Her wealth of experience ensures the client receives the best possible outcome whilst maintaining the confidentiality and privacy of her clients.​

Sophie Tannous

Sophie is an International Property expert with over 20 years of experience in the construction and luxury real estate sectors. During the course of her career she has been lucky enough to work with some of the largest developers in the World and prolific architects (such as the late Dame Zaha Hadid CBE) managing some of the Worlds most iconic mega projects across the UK and the UAE.

 

In addition to complex residential, commercial and hospitality project management, she owns a luxury real estate consultancy specializing in providing Ultra High Net Worth clients and Family Offices with exclusive off-market properties and private islands with a specific focus on Dubai (where she has spent over 15 years). Partnering with a network of trusted advisors, she is able to offer a holistic service on every aspect of the luxury markets to her clients. 

 

Having worked with Ultra High Net Worth Clients and their families for many

years, she understands the huge importance of high-level security, protecting safety, privacy and reputation and uses her construction background to advise Clients on the most effective solutions. She can advise on structural elements for retro-fit security works and sense check architectural plans for new builds incorporating full security and functionality. 

 

Her focus is on making a building functional and secure, flowing perfectly as well as being aesthetically beautiful to suit each Client’s requirements. She has recently worked with trusted architectural partners and ISS to design ballistic proof and attack proof residential villas using World-class security technologies for Clients in the Middle East and the USA.

Steve Smith

Steve is an experienced Security and Risk Director, with an intelligent approach towards security and risk management and a proven track record of delivering high level security for top tier global businesses. 

 

He is able to confidently engage with C-Suite and business stakeholders to gather and understand their complex security needs. He leads security teams and manage effective security programs whilst delivering agility to security management that has capacity to adjust swiftly to identified threats and business needs. 

 

Steve has a vast amount of experience of working with international principal designers and architects to advise on security design and installation of commercial assets. He is adept at managing emergencies / crisis situations across enterprise level organisations to ensure multiple business objectives are achieved and world-class security functions are delivered.

Warren Jones

Guardforce Security (GFS) was founded in 29 th November 2002 by Warren Jones, Russell Sampayo, Kevin Myers, operating from offices in Hornchurch. From the outset the Directors aimed to provide customers with an exceptional service built around their requirements. In order to deliver the quality of service they pledged to provide a fair and rewarding workplace for all employees and
stakeholders. Both of these objectives provided the foundations for the business success we see today.


From inception the company has grown organically through delivering continual service excellence to the Event, Sport, Music, TV & Film Industries. The scope of services offered to end users is diverse. Advice and the security provision are always tailored to the specific needs of the customer and their stakeholders. We conduct the majority of our services in house with the use of trained and SIA licensed operatives who are specialists in their field. We pride ourselves on the quality of our operatives and all personnel are required to undergo security screening and background due diligence checks to ensure the integrity of the products and services we supply is maintained. In addition, all operatives are required to undergo various training programs and examinations to verify their competence and knowledge of the industry, legislation and the license linked qualification (SIA

GFS Head Office support staff and Managers have a wealth of industry experience which is brought to all contracts with 24/7 support throughout from the Control Centre based within our Head Office.
